Superbad is the newest of the High School-set comedies to hit the big screen. Take a look back and the great High School flicks of the past. Which is your favorite? Seen Superbad? Think it belongs here?

1. MEAN GIRLS (2004) - Back when Lindsay Lohan was still a redhead, she knocked our socks off with her sexy transformation in this comedy written by Tina Fey.
2. AMERICAN PIE (1999) - The first of the series will always be the best. This comedy looked at the raunchy side of high school, but held the "R" rating that prevented most high schoolers from seeing it in theaters.
3. SIXTEEN CANDLES (1984) - This Brat Pack-era flick perpetuated Molly Ringwald's stardom as she plays a girl turning sweet sixteen.
4. THE BREAKFAST CLUB (1985) - Brat Pack at it's best, this classic took detention to a whole new level.
5. FERRIS BEULER'S DAY OFF (1986) - Who hasn't seen this movie? The hilarious adventures of a group of high schoolers is chronicled as they skip school for a day.
6. DEAD POET'S SOCIETY (1989) - This touching prep-school drama looks at an entirely different version of high-school life.
7. SUPERBAD (2007) - Two nerdy buddies seek to acquire the necessary booze to throw the graduation party that may take their virginities.
